Hello everyone! Wooosh!!!

I’m so glad I finally get to do this. I’m more than glad actually, I’m ecstatic.

Welcome to my blog! I’m giving you a huge smile and a warm hug. Thanks for coming here, whether you came to learn, to support or just because I bullied you into it 😋 I love and appreciate you.

I am doing this because it has been laid upon my spirit to share God’s word within and outside my circle.

As I write this (without telling you where I am 🤣🤣) I know for sure that the Holy Spirit made me do this.

Why?

Because I have so much to share!! Just like every other Christian who walks with God.

I’m glad to tell you that this blog won’t only be about me, it’ll also be about you. As much as I will be sharing, I will also be featuring a lot of my friends, both present and future, a lot of your faves from different industries, and a lot from … Me (I know I already said that).

If you know me, you already know I like to be Joyful, so this space will be filled with Joy. 💃🏽💃🏽 My first post will be up soon, so please look out for it.

Abracadabra

Words create

Ever wondered what this word even means?

Maybe not! You probably think like I thought, that it’s just a magical phrase or maybe it’s rubbish sef. Lol

It’s actually a word from the Aramaic phrase “avra kehdabra” which means “I will create as I speak”.

I didn’t say you should be saying this oo 😅 It is now more commonly used by magicians, so you really don’t have to.

So what’s my point? “Words Create”!! and even the ‘circular’ world (dyu get?) know and use it.

I learned a long time ago that you cannot be great in this Christianity if you don’t speak the word of God. It’s not enough to read and believe, you must speak.

Fam, the world was created by the word of God. God’s word is so important that He is Jesus. (John 1) The word is Jesus (mind blowing)

If God uses words to create, what do you think He expects His children to use?

Honestly, this post is for me. Let me not even act like I’ve been very great at this, but I try.

Oya let’s look at scriptures –

“By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.”

Psalm 33:6 AMPC

“By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.”

Hebrews 11:3 AMPC

I know we’re mostly tempted to speak the doom we see, but that’s why the Just (aka You) shall live by faith.

God said “Light be” and there was light. Now, imagine He said “What a horrible mess”. Okay, I also can’t imagine that. Lol

It’s almost the end of this unprecedented year. 2020 has been an amazing year because you and I are still here and we have several reasons to be grateful. It has also been a tough year because we faced so many challenges, maybe lost dear ones or things that matter to us, but still “The Just Shall Live By Faith”.

You can create your world with your words.

Radio Silence

Hi Everyone!

It’s been a minute. Glad to be back to writing to you 🥰

It’s been a challenging past few weeks, but we’re back and we what? We Move!

Radio Silence – “a period during which one hears nothing from a normally communicative person or group”.

I’ve heard people complain about God not speaking to them at times when they need Him the most or times when they’re really curious about something…but that’s not what we’re talking about today. That one is gist for another day.

Today we’re talking about when we as children of God go quiet on God.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….

Sometimes we just take a break from all things “God”, maybe because we’re tired or because we get caught up in life and overwhelmed by the things we think matter more.

Other times we don’t even know what’s wrong, we just know that we’re not praying, studying, listening to messages or interacting with the Holy Spirit as much.

You that used to be on fire for God, you’ve suddenly forgotten how to pray and fast and do the things of God. You’ve suddenly grown accustomed to being lukewarm and there’s nothing in you that is yelling for God. Hmm…

Maybe you’re not at that stage yet, but I promise you, this issue applies to everyone, including preachers. It is absolutely possible to work for God and not be on talking terms with Him. Speaking from experience. 😌😌

The only solution is for you to GET BACK TO IT!

“But Fola I don’t feel like I used to, it just doesn’t feel that way. The desire isn’t really there”.

Who said it has to be based on feelings? Who said you had to smile really hard when you’re with God?

One mistake we Christians often make is the mistake of wanting to be perfect for God. You want to smile and be all cozy and pray when you’re happy and when you’ve read your Bible and done things right. The moment you start messing up in some way, you feel detached, you’re not God’s perfect child anymore, so you start to create a chasm between you two.

Wrong!!!

You must learn to have a “real” relationship with God. Like the relationship you can have with your favorite person. Understanding God’s love is understanding that He loves you no matter what and will always be there for you. It is that love that saves you from life’s thorns and gingers you to love Him even more.

The Holy Spirt is a true friend, He wants you to bare it all. Stop having a religious relationship with God, it never works!

You need to be as real as possible with Him. He has shown time and time again in scriptures that he doesn’t deal with “surface perfect” people, but people who have a heart for Him.

Today, you will have a conversation with God about everything going on in your life and in your environment. Tell Him how you feel.

The Holy Spirit is telling me to tell you that He will give you a word for your situation and you will smile again. He says He has the solution.

Run along now!

If like me you’ve had times in your life when you felt you were too far gone to get back on track with God, then I’ve got news for you.
You might even be at that point right now where you feel like God is disappointed in you, maybe because you fell into that habit again, you didn’t pray as much, you stopped going to church or you lied, got jealous, gossiped or stole.

Someone reading this probably feels like “Fola what I have done is much worse than all these”. Well, it doesn’t matter. Just stay with me.

There are so many lessons I have learned from the story of the prodigal son aka the story of the loving father, which is why I use it a lot in my discussions.

One of the things we should take note of is “what mattered to the father”. After the young man took his inheritance (that he didn’t necessarily work for ooo) and squandered it on all sorts of frivolous and ungodly things, he decided to go back home due to much suffering. Lol. (Fam! He was broker than the pigs 🤣🤣 Please don’t wait till you get to that stage).

He thought about the life he was living and decided that he could do better even by being a servant in his father’s house.

While some parents will want you to weep and gnash your teeth after the terrible things you did, this young man’s father ran to embrace him, didn’t ask any questions and instructed the household to clean him up and kill the fattest cow for a feast.
What a loving father. He didn’t want to hear the young man’s tales of woe, He was just too happy that His son redirected and came home.

REDIRECT !

Our God is the creator of destinies, so no matter how much you think you’ve missed your way, He is willing to carve a new path for you.
It is never too late to live in God’s plans, Never! It is never too early to commit to His ways either.

If you erred somehow and you need to redirect your heart and steps, be rest assured that those loving arms are wide open to receive you. No matter how many times you’ve repented, it is never better to stay on the wrong path.

For some strange reason, some people want to fix their mess before going back to God. They just want to get it right before getting back to being a worker in church.
Lol! It’s funny how you think you can do it without God. Condemnation doesn’t lead to repentance, neither does it give grace. It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance and the knowledge of God that multiplies Grace.

“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”

You can’t get it right without God, so make that turn, take that step and find your way back to your ABBA.

He is willing!

“WHEN JESUS came down from the mountain, great throngs followed Him. And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You are able to cleanse me by curing me. And He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.”

Ever wanted something and wondered if God would want to give it to you? Ever wanted something and didn’t get it then just concluded that it wasn’t necessary because God couldn’t be bothered about it?

Well, you were wrong. That was your unbelief speaking. You’re a Christian, you can access anything and everything you want. How do I know? In our theme scripture above, the leper was asking Jesus if He (Jesus) was willing to heal him (the leper) and Jesus in His mercies answered positively – I am Willing.

That answer is not just for that leper, it is for you. Stop asking God at this time if He is willing to give you money or a house or a job. Stop praying “God if it be thy will” because you won’t get anything that way. Why? It’s unbelief.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I can’t remember a time in the Bible when Jesus quickly ran to consult God to know if He was willing to multiply the bread or the wine, or when you first consulted God to know if He was willing to let you breathe today.

I feel like sometimes when we ask God some questions, He’s just like, “really? Fola, really?? I said in my word that you are heirs of me and joint heirs with Christ and you’re asking if I am willing to give 500k? Or even a job or a healing”. We have access to these things.

Elisha is not even as great as you. You carry the essence of divinity inside you. I think we should start by finding out who God is, then go ahead to find out who we are from the Bible. You’ll be amazed. We’re not scratching the surface, not to talk of launching into the deep of the things God has given us.

In 2 Kings 4, Elisha just sharpish, without stress, did like 4 miracles that blew my mind. He gave an instruction that multiplied oil, he raised the dead, he neutralized poison and he fed 100 men with food meant for only him. Trust God, there were remnants. Why can’t this be you? Unbelief.

I advice we stop shortchanging ourselves with unbelief. Jesus said nothing will be impossible to us if we believe. He also said He is willing, so please, what’s your excuse?

Be who God has called you to be already!

A Psalm for my loving Abba

He’s the reason I can relax and breathe!

“Good people, cheer GOD! Right-living people sound best when praising. Use guitars to reinforce your Hallelujahs! Play his praise on a grand piano! Invent your own new song to him; give him a trumpet fanfare.” Psalm 33:1-3 MSG

Invent your own new song to Him!! Isn’t that remarkable? A couple of people asked me if I meant they they could write their own Psalms and I said “Yes” in the most excited way 😄😄

Just as easily as you speak to God, you can write to God or write to everyone about God. I know some of you wanted to do the Psalm thing but haven’t gotten around it yet. I encourage you to go right ahead. Write a Psalm this week and send it to me. I’ll be glad to publish it in TMC blog. 💃🏽

Enjoy my 3rd psalm. I haven’t published the second though. Lol. God really does show up for me all the time fam. I am a small girl with a Big Big God. which means I’m a big girl, right? I want to encourage you to hinge all your plans and pursuits of this God, He’s more than willing and able to help you. Enjoy!

When I look at trouble around me, I see boisterous waves trying to overwhelm me.

Then I shift my eyes from the things of the world and set my eyes on you, suddenly my heart begins to overflow with joy.

You have never failed Lord and you will never fail. I see your loving arms wrapped around me at all times.

You make me strong when I’m weak and you are fond of giving me a reason to smile when circumstances do otherwise.

You are love and you are light. I couldn’t be or do anything without you.

Even the times when I feel unworthy of your love due to my missteps, you keep assuring me of this unending, unconditional love you have for me.

Trouble has faded because it can’t stand the Joy you give. My faith is renewed by your love.

Now I see your light, I see your love, I see your greatness and your works and I know that I will get through anything and everything, because You are my Father, my ABBA. ❤️❤️❤️

AMP – A Millennial’s Psalms

Don’t you just love the life of a Christian?

It is filled with so many beautiful things. The Bible says we can speak to one another in Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs. That’s amazing!

Wondering what a Psalm really is?

The moment I realized that Psalms are not for King David alone, I decided that I would absolutely write thousand of love notes to my Papa.

I hope you are blessed and inspired by AMP to write a Psalm or a Song and express yourself to the glory of God. Here’s my first Psalm, do enjoy it.

1. A Psalm of gratitude Thank you so much papa.

Thank you for loving me and lifting me. Thank you for being my strength in times of weakness and my voice when I don’t have the words.

Thank you for the daily miracles you have done in, through and for me.

My heart overflows with gratitude when I think about how much you have done for me.

My God, the exceeder of expectations, the strong and mighty, the father of fathers, my Hero, my Lord.

I will never be able to thank you enough, but I’ll go on and on and never stop.

Thank you my Lord from now till eternity.
